Presentation by Bill Andreas on his experience during the excavations at Kalavasos Ayios-Dhimitrios archaeological site.
Bill Andreas is a computer software designer, historic preservationist and archaeologist from Sudbury Massachusetts (near Boston). He holds a BSc from the University of Pennsylvania and has done graduate work in Classical Greek and Latin at Boston College. He joined the Vasilikos Valley Project directed by Dr. Ian Todd and Alison South in 1987 and has been working in Kalavasos ever since. He is one of the (many) excavators at Kalavasos Ayios-Dhimitrios, a large Late Bronze Age (ca 1500 - 1200 BC) city, located next to Kalavasos Tenta and is currently working on publishing the excavations. He's also the author of Digital Cobham—an online bibliography of everything published about Cyprus before 1910 (http://www.wsacy.com/DigitalCobham_5.0).
