Neighborhood Social Worker in Kalavasos Community

Kalavasos Community Council announces the launch of the “Neighborhood Social Worker” program, a new initiative designed to provide essential social and psychological support to the residents of our community. This service aims to strengthen the well-being of individuals and families, foster community ties, and address social challenges effectively.

This program is implemented as part of the “Neighborhood Social Worker” project, under the broader initiative of “Upgrading Social Welfare Services”, co-funded by the European Union through the “THALIA 2021-2027” Cohesion Policy Program.

Services Offered:

• Provision of counseling and psychosocial support.
• Home visits within the community.
• Collaboration and connection with public and other services.
• Support network services to address social problems.
• Information, guidance, and referral to relevant services.
• Support services for schools and other community structures.

Who Can Benefit?
The program is available to all residents of the Kalavasos community. All services are provided FREE OF CHARGE.
